Grippy Boo is designed to meet the needs of those who practise yoga styles that involve profuse sweating because they are very dynamic (as in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga or Power Yoga) or take place at very high room temperatures (as in Bikram yoga) and for those who simply tend to have very sweaty hands and feet!
The upper part of the Grippy Boo consists of a comfortable, super-absorbent bamboo microfibre sponge with recognised antibacterial properties that help reduce the build-up of odour-causing microorganisms. Little moisture is needed to create good friction. This will help you concentrate on the asanas without distractions from slipping!
The bamboo microfibre in this mat is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified to ensure you the best choice in terms of sustainability for this textile fibre. The cultivation of bamboo is itself environmentally friendly, the plant grows fast, occupies little land area, requires little water and requires no chemicals. Its fibre is extracted using environmentally friendly products and by reducing consumption.
The entire bottom surface of the Grippy Boo is non-slip and keeps it stable when placed on top of another mat. The same grip exists when you place it directly against the floor.

We recommend moistening it slightly by spraying it with water before you start practising: this will simulate sweating and your extremities will adhere perfectly right away.
Alternatively, you can start practising on the mat and roll out the Grippy Boo once your hands are sweaty enough to grip the fabric! In fact, you can use this towel on its own or in combination with a classic yoga mat, such as our Free Light.
Its versatility, lightness, and the fact that it is completely foldable and dries very quickly make the Towel Grippy Boo a valuable travel companion.
The Grippy Boo is easy to use and care for. It is very durable and can be washed in the washing machine (at 30° maximum) but absolutely should not be put in the dryer. Because it dries so quickly, it will be ready for use again in a very short time.
To ensure that your Grippy Boo lasts as long as possible, we recommend that you fold it only as long as necessary (when moving or travelling) and roll it up in a dry, sheltered place when storing it normally. If possible, also store it inside a bag to protect it from dust.
Avoid keeping it near heat sources or exposed to direct sunlight for a long time: the underside may lose its characteristic grip (the microfibre will not be damaged in any case).

I am traveling a lot and this yoga mat is a life saver, it is very easy to carry. The material is very soft and gentle on the slip. And it wont slip on the floor, it is amazing!

i love this mat!
I love this mat so much. It is easy to carry to yoga studios and then it is my own personal layer that I put on top of the studio's traditional mat. When it is moist it really helps prevent slipping and sliding, I can toss it into the washer when it needs cleaning, and of course, being able to fold it up is so convenient.
